Melissa joined Zenally in 2023, bringing with her a strong foundation in accounting and a career built around supporting small businesses and owner-managed companies. Since earning her CPA, CGA designation in 2015, she has dedicated her professional life to helping entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of tax and financial management — translating technical requirements into clear, practical guidance that business owners can easily use.

Her background is as varied as it is relevant. Melissa holds a Financial Services Diploma and a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration and gained early career experience as an Account Manager with one of Canada's major banks before transitioning into public practice accounting. That combination of financial services and accounting experience gives her a well-rounded perspective that her clients have come to rely on.

Known for her attention to detail, thoughtful approach, and genuine care for her clients, Melissa has built her reputation through long-term relationships and sound, dependable advice.

Outside the office, Melissa and her husband Brian keep busy on their acreage with their two children, miniature fainting goats and a flock of chickens. She enjoys off-grid camping, gardening, quilting, and crafting with her kids — and brings that same grounded, hands-on sensibility to her work with clients.
